These color-coded cap inserts for TruCool cryogenic vials, snap easily into the open cavity of both internal- and external-threaded screwcaps.
Recommended for use in vapor phase liquid nitrogen (LN2) only.
For liquid phase LN2, place a CoolRack CF cryogenic vial module in the liquid phase LN2 and wait 15 minutes for the CoolRack CF to equilibrate to LN2 temperature, then place cryogenic vials in the CoolRack CF. This will ensure samples snap-freeze without direct contact to the liquid phase LN2.
