General purpose column has a PTFE stopcock and a top outer joint. Glass wool (not supplied) is used to support column packing. Column is constructed using MEDIUM WALL TUBING. Can be used as a gravity eluted column or a flash column (as described by W.C. Still, M. Kahn and A. Mitra of Columbia University in JOURNAL OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 43, 2923 (1978), and covered in U.S. Patent Number 4,293,422 dated October 6, 1981) when used with optional CG-1191 flow controller and CG-1190 reservoir.
CHROM COLUMNS ARE AVAILABLE PLASTIC COATED.
