VersaCap 83 mm (83B) Carboy and Bottle Caps, Open Cap w/ 2x 1/2" Molded In HB Adapter, 1/EA
205-1008-RLS: VersaCap, 83B, Open Cap w/ 2x 1/2" Molded In HB Adapter. Patented VersaCap is leak-proof, uses a replaceable platinum-cured silicone gasket, & provides the ultimate in top-connection flexibility. Open VersaCap is compatible with a variety of adapter inserts, enabling users to quickly change top connections. VersaCap offers large handles with finger grips that allow for easy tightening & opening.
They are stackable, & offered in 53mm, 83mm (compatible with most carboys), & 120mm wide-mouth versions that fit exclusively on Foxx Life SciencesÆ 20L, 40L, & 75L EZfil carboys. Quick-connect options include combinations of two, three, & four ports, with 1/4ö & 3/8ö sizes. Molded-in hose barb options are available in 1/8ô , 1/4ö, 5/16ö, & 1/2ö sizes. A Clearview adapter is also available for users who need a window into the carboy for visualizing solution homogenization. VersaCaps are made from PP, which may be autoclaved at 15 PSI & 121░C (250░F) for 20 min.
• VersaCap® products feature multiple cap sizes with closed, vented, and open-cap configurations, along with interchangeable adapters and hose barb connections that support flexible integration with laboratory bottles, carboys, and tubing setup
• VersaCap® caps, adapters, and tubing assemblies are designed for sealing bottles, flasks, and carboys while enabling controlled liquid transfer and tubing connections in laboratory systems.
