SEALING FILMS, THERMALSEAL A FOR CLASSIC PCR

ThermalSeal A™ sealing films are an advanced version of Excel Scientifics’ classic ThermalSeal® sealing films for PCR. ThermalSeal A™ films consist of 50µm thick clear polypropylene with a thicker 50µm layer of a stronger adhesive formulated for improved protection against evaporation and leakage during thermal cycling. Intended for Non-Real-Time PCR applications. Dimensionally cut for a universal fit yields a secure seal for both raised-rim and flat top PCR plates. Two end tabs allow for easy positioning of the film on the plate but are perforated for easy removal if necessary. Film dimensions with end tabs are 135.5 x 77.8mm, without end tabs length is 118.1mm with 45° corners. Each package of ThermalSeal A™ films includes one sealing paddle for ensuring a firm seal, also compatible with raised-rim plates.

*Completing application of sealing films by pressing with accessory film-sealing paddle assures a secure, uniform seal around all the wells. The paddle fits within the edge of raised-rim plates.
