PRESSURE VESSELS, HEAVY WALL

Heavy wall cylindrical and round bottom vessels have an internal thread for use with a PTFE bushing as a pressure seal. This unique design allows hand tightening and loosing for easy access into the vessel. The o-ring is positioned on the bushing above the thread for improved sealing. The vessels are useful for pressure reactions and applications such as polymerization and analysis of halogens by thermal decomposition in the presence of lime. Complete apparatus is supplied with vessel, PTFE bushing and Viton o-ring. Optional Perfluoro o-ring has the chemical resistance and service temperature range similar to Kalrez® 4079. HOWEVER, CHEMGLASS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE VESSEL FROM BREAKING UNDER PRESSURE, DUE TO THE NATURE OF MATERIAL AND CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL. CHEMGLASS RECOMMENDS THE USE OF SAFETY SHIELDS AND/OR OTHER SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
