The LabStrong 06808LS NANOpure™ II Quad Style Canister O-Ring is comparable to the Thermo Scientific™ Barnstead™ 06808 and 06808-DB. The o-ring is designed for use in the Thermo Scientific Barnstead NANOpure II water purification system cartridge canister housings (PCS style). The economical and reliable canister o-ring provides outstanding quality.
The LabStrong NANOpure II Quad Style Canister O-Ring is designed to seal the space between the cartridge canister housing and the head section of the water purification system. The o-ring is designed to prevent leakage between these connections. Overtime, the canister o-rings in the Thermo Scientific Barnstead NANOpure II water purification systems wear and eventually fail.
When the o-ring fails, the water purification systems can leak water. To prevent this from occurring, LabStrong recommends changing the o-rings when the cartridges in these water purification systems are replaced. When replacing the o-ring, place the o-ring flat in the recess located between the cartridge canister housing and the head section of the water purification system.
