The 96 ”open-ended” pipette tips in this replicating tool are compatible with all kinds of plates including flat, vee or round bottom plates to 0.2ml thin walled PCR plates and tubes. To use the tool, just place the Bel-Blotter Replicator into a standard 96-well plate. The open tips will aspirate liquid up to 10?µl per tip. The Bel-Blotter Replicator, now full of liquid, is next placed onto a filter paper, plate or appropriate replicating medium. The resultant products of the Bel-Blotter Replicator may be employed to inoculate filters for colony hybridization, to replicate recombinant DNA libraries, to perform phage typing and other applications.
