Adapter Kit: Fi-Streem™ III to Barnstead™ Mega-Pure Automatic Collection System

The LabStrong Fi-Streem™ III Still to Thermo Scientific™ Barnstead™ Mega-Pure Automatic Collection System (ACS) Adapter Kit (AY0012-5) allows for automatic operation of the Fi-Streem III Still using the Mega-Pure ACS. The adapter kit allows for automatic operation of all LabStrong Fi-Streem III Stills (A56210-857LS, A56218-857LS, A56220-857LS, A56228-857LS, A56230-857LS and A56238-857LS) and Thermo Scientific Barnstead Fi-Streem III Stills (A56210-857, A56218-857, A56220-857, A56228-857, A56230-857 and A56238-857). The adapter kit eliminates the need to replace the Mega-Pure Automatic Collection System (B440704) with a LabStrong water storage reservoir (A1058LS, B00121 or B00122).
The adapter kit includes an adapter box, glass distillate connector and clamp device. Installation of the kit is quick and easy. For convenience, the adapter box features multiple mounting holes, which allow for secure mounting to a wall or benchtop surface.
The adapter kit uses energy harvesting technology and does not require a separate power supply to operate. The Mega-Pure ACS uses a single SPST limit switch for level control and provides short-cycle prevention through the mechanical design of the float. The Fi-Streem III Still accepts a pair of float switches (one for “low” and one for “full”). The adapter kit simulates the output of two switches based on the state of the single level control switch input.
