FUNGISEL AGAR
Fungisel Agar is used for the isolation of pathogenic fungi. Cycloheximide and Chloramphenicol inhibit saprophytic fungi and bacteria, respectively, while allowing pathogenic fungi to grow. Enzymatic Digest of Soybean provides nitrogenous compounds and vitamins. Dextrose is the fermentable carbohydrate. Agar is the gelifying agent.
